WHAT IS YOGA?
Short answer, it's a mind + body practice. The more profound answer is that it's a lifestyle. It involves the attitudes towards the environment, the attitudes towards ourselves, physical postures, breath, sensory withdrawal, concentration, meditation, + complete integration.
Here at RW Yoga, we focus on physical postures, breath, and meditation. We also offer workshops on the other aspects of yoga to guide all on their path.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
That depends on who you ask. Many will say it is an antidepressant; some will say it improves overall health. With a serious practice, every part of the body benefits from every part of the body benefits from the digestive to the cardiovascular systems.
WHY RW YOGA?
RW Yoga was created because founder Renee Watkins believes that it is important to meet people where they are physically, mentally, + emotionally. RW Yoga offers affordable yoga classes that are both virtual + in person to be sure all who are interested can participate.
I've always made it a point to relate to my students in every way possible, so I have been trained to teach just about everything form of yoga from traditional vinyasa to goat yoga.
I never want money to be the reason a person can't attend class, so I make sure to keep all group classes and workshops affordable. Yet and still, if you cannot pay BUT you still want to attend, let me know and I will work out a deal with you.
I think private sessions are a wonderful investment for those new to yoga and for those who don't have the time to fit group classes into their regular schedules. One session is $85 or you can pay $200 for a four class package (payment plans are available).
The beauty about privates, is that they cater to the individual and gives the student and teacher the opportunity to focus on specific needs. If you know you want/need to work on an area we will do exactly that!
